Understanding the P2M.pro Tournament Process

P2M.pro — How Our Program Works

P2M.pro — How Our Program Works

A step-by-step guide for parents and players.

1. Select Your Travel Locations

Choose state and cities you are willing to travel to: home city, nearby cities, surrounding states, or specific event locations. Tournament fields are selected by the host and may be up to an hour away from your selected city. Selecting multiple locations you are willing to travel to increases your chance of being placed on a team and reduces cancellations.

2. Complete Player Details

Highlight positions your player excels at and needs more reps in, and complete all other necessary details required by the tournament host. Consider playing up if your skills allow to increase chances of playing.

3. Signing Up for a Tournament Team (This Is Your Commitment)

Please ensure all your questions are answered before signing up! Signing up confirms that your player is available and committed to travel within the locations you selected. Only register if you are 99% certain you can attend and can successfully complete your payment within 24 hours once you receive the email notification. If you need to cancel due to an unexpected issue, please remove your player’s locations and notify team@p2m.pro . Cancellations impact team formation and may result in a temporary account suspension or removal from future P2M teams.

4. How Teams Are Formed

Once enough players sign up in an age group and location, P2M forms rosters by matching age, location, and other factors, ensuring safety and competitive balance.

  • Typical roster size: Minimum 9–10 players; goal 11–12 players.
  • Please share with friends to increase chances of playing.
  • Tournaments are selected after a team is formed based on locations selected.

5. How the Tournament Is Selected

We choose the most appropriate event based on which tournaments already have teams signed up, your selected travel area, pricing (typically $60 – $120), field and weather conditions, and tournament host reliability. Hosts may change availability, locations, times, and any other factors at any moment. We try to pick the biggest and best tournament option available that weekend.

6. Payment & Final Confirmation

After your team reaches minimum roster size, you’ll receive an email notifying you to check the tournament dashboard. Complete payment to lock in your spot. If payment isn’t completed, we may release the spot to another player. Spots are first come, first serve; for example if 15 players are signed up, we limit the roster to 12.

7. Uniform Requirements

Most events do not require matching uniforms—wear your current team or any baseball-style jersey. If a tournament requires matching P2M jerseys, it will be clearly stated before you sign up. Orders typically take 4 weeks.

8. Coach Assignments

Once a roster is confirmed, a coach is assigned based on experience, player feedback, and availability. Coaches help manage lineups, dugout logistics, and in-game decisions. We try to make it as easy as possible for anyone to lead a team and help kids get more reps. As a thank you, volunteering to coach the team your player is on at the tournament allows us to provide you 100% off the price at most events making your weekend completely free.

9. Tournament Dashboard & Communication

Use your dashboard to track events, monitor roster progress, invite friends, and check payment status. We use email and game changer for confirmations, schedule updates, weather alerts, and coach introductions.

10. Competitive Play Policy

On day 1, P2M focuses on fair playing, player opportunities, and positive team culture. Playing time and positions try to align with your listed positions but ultimately are at the coach’s discretion based on performance, team needs, and safety. Day 2 is competition mode; the team is playing to win. Players not adequately competing at the same level as other players on their team or opposing team may experience less playing time.

11. Special Events (Optional)

P2M lists out-of-state tournaments, showcases, unique opportunities, and “bring your own team” weekends. These appear on your dashboard when available or can be requested at any time.

Tournaments are competitive. Playing time and positions are determined by coaches based on performance and team needs. For questions or cancellations email team@p2m.pro.

Pro Tip: Select more locations or invite friends to increase your chance of being rostered.

Tournaments are competitive, and our motto—“Prove Yourself”—applies to all players. Those who do not perform at the level of their teammates or opponents may have limited or unequal playing time and positions, especially on Sunday, at the coaches’ discretion.
